Debbie's chest will have  feet with a simpler line, no scroll cuts. An English lock with a decorative escutcheon will be installed, as well.
This veiw shows the half-blind dovetail joints featured in a Walker Syle chest, adding strength and stability to the construction.
.Shown here is the inlay on the walnut lid.  Debbie and Chris' chest will be all Makore, no inlay.
Detail of the floating panel in the single frame lid. This allows the wood to expand and contract with humidity changes and not crack.

A close-up veiw of the dovetailing and trim rail above the scroll foot. Solid support for holding your favorite things!
