Bluebird
House Placement: For best results, place house 5 to 10 feet above
the ground in a somewhat open location near fruiting trees and enjoy watching.
Not only are bluebirds beautiful, but help rid your lawn and garden of
hundreds of insect pests.
Wren House Placement: Place the house 6 to 10 feet above the
ground in a partly sunny location near trees or shrubs and enjoy watching.
Busy wrens will stuff their house full of twigs, so fall cleaning is important
to keep birds healthy.
Swallow
House Placement: 10 to 15 feet above
the ground in an open location, near a small pool of water if possible,
and enjoy watching. Swallows naturally nest in colonies, so
several houses may be grouped close together.
Diamond
Wren House: Hangs from a nylon cord. Bottom pieces are
3/4 " thick. Front screws can be removed to open up for cleaning
out all last year's twigs, stuffed in by the busy little house wren.
